Climate

In Qatar the long summer (May through September) is characterized by intense heat and alternating dryness and humidity, with temperatures reaching 50°C (122°F). Temperatures are moderate from November through May, although winter temperatures may fall to 5°C (41°F).
Average temperature ranges are from 23°C (73°F) in winter to 35°C (95°F) in summer.

Administrative division
